John Briggs is the author of Mary Dyer, Friend of Freedom, Judy Garland: Little Woman, Big Talent, and Pete Seeger, The People’s Singer, as well as several other upcoming Big Biography books. He spent his youth devouring middle-grade biographies and is now thrilled to write them for Atombank. Among his writing credits are three years as a nationally syndicated children’s TV critic, as well as a sports reporter, music critic, and comedy writer . John has published more than 1,600 articles in the course of his journalism career, and is currently a book editor for adult and children’s titles. Amy Hauer writes, designs and illustrates books for children of all ages, from pre-K board books to young adult fantasy.
